Mowing a large area. Like it, but hard to see throughLove it. It's been so useful. It prevents bugs to fly near my ears or my face, plus covers my face from the excessive heat. I bought three for my daughter, husband and myself and my husband is the happiest.I bought 3, one for my husband(a little tight fitting), one for me(perfect) and one for a 5 year old(too big). I really liked the one I had on last weekend, it saved my sanity and worked!I bought this due to expected cicada hatching during spring. It was so helpful. Have found it best though to keep pesky gnats out of my eyes and off my face. After doing yard work I will brush off bugs, grass clippings, etc. It is cool. Offers sun protection. Comfortable to wear and durable. Wahes up in delecate cycle in washer. Great buy.A basic design flaw keeps the hat from a great review. Though the netting does keep bugs and debris from grass cuttings off my face and neck while running a riding mower, I found myself blinded by the glare off the netting and constantly dipping my chin to my chest while raising my eyes to see over the glare. The clear view through the net was created by the shade of the brim. But the brim is so narrow that the clear view is brief and narrow. The situation could be corrected simply by widening the brim of the hat, which I did by stapling on a piece of cardboard. Do not buy this hat if you are a serious fisherman or need to see clearly while working outdoors on a sunny day. Find a hat with a wider brim.Birthday gift for my Dad and he loves it. Says keeps the bugs and grass off when he is mowing.Fits great and doesn't suffocate you. I've purchased other netting for the unbearable bugs in Arkansas and this one is by far the best.
